On this week’s Cast; Austin, Daniel and I break down season 7, episode 7, “The Dragon and the Wolf” with guest host Alexandra Bohannon. Game of Thrones season 7 has wrapped, our conversation is just getting started. This week's Game of Thrones has brought about an apparent divide among fans in the online community. The episode has been torn apart by many viewers who are claiming the expedited pacing is harming the show while other fans praised its spectacle. The cast continues this ongoing discussion about whether or not the pacing and more fan-service-y writing has benefitted the show. Welcome back milords and ladies to The Cast Beyond the Wall! We return with another podcast dedicated to reviewing, analyzing and debating each episode of HBO’s hit show, Game of Thrones. On this week’s Cast; Austin, Daniel and I break down season 7, episode 4, "The Spoils of War." In this week's episode, we're rejoined by one of the 'cast's oldest recurring co-hosts, Ben Friend, to discuss what feels like one of the most climactic hours of Game of Thrones yet! Before jumping into Lannister vs dragon battle, we start by giving our initial thoughts of the whole episode. Bran continues to demonstrate that he's no longer the boy we used to know by tipping his Three-Eyed Raven knowledge off to Littlefinger. The Stark reunions continue this week as Arya and Sansa have a reunion that is both heartwarming and bittersweet. The fantasy league continues to heat up as Austin claims this week's MVP, Daenerys Targaryen, who roasted countless soldiers on the battlefield. I continue to gain momentum thanks to Bronn's wisecracking and a showdown with the dragon. On this week’s Cast; Caleb, Austin, and Daniel break down season 7, episode 3, The Queen's Justice. In this episode of the podcast, your hosts are joined by the writer/director/ producer of the upcoming film, You People to talk about the long-awaited meeting of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. For more than six years, fans have eagerly awaited this moment, but the big question is, does it deliver? As the end grows even closer to its inevitable conclusion, Game of Thrones has shifted into warp speed and started clearing the board of players who aren't as necessary to the dragon on the white walker end game. This week gave us not one, but two epic sieges along with the inevitable death of the fan favorite Queen of Thorns.
